☞ A very tough outer skin to handle regular rejection
☞ Resiliency - the ability to bounce back after failure because you will see much of it
☞ Be well educated in ethics and compliance issues to maintain your license and retain the ability to educate prospects
☞ You must be part of a winning organization meaning the insurers and brokerage/agency you represent must be thoroughly competent
☞ Have a passion for the specific insurance product you market, if you attempt this career to make money as your number 1 priority you will indeed fail.
☞ PERSISTENCE - This is a seed planting business. Clients do not buy when you want them to, they buy when THEY WANT TO. This means you have to constantly be planting and nurturing your garden.
